Well, well - thought I'd post a small sign of life here from the windy cliffs of Norway to see if anyone of the "old gang" are still around...!

Haven't been playing anyting for about half a year now - mainly because I had to format my HD (didn't reinstall), alot of work and therefore couldn't really find the time to play all that much.

BUT - now that the autumn is all over us, it's time to start fiddling around with the weaponry again...i think.

SO - who's in here (if any) and who's still playing any of the "good-old" games...?

And - of course - what servers are you on?

Oh wow this site's still up

I'm playing mostly DODS these days on The OC - no its nothing to do with american TV shows. Its a clan called The Old C***s. They have tags for regulars, so I am Barcode[O.C. Reg] on there and since I am on at odd times of day at the moment, they've given me admin rights on the server.

The rules can be a bit of a PITA, particularly the no swearing one which can be ignored after midnight....or not. Depends on which admins are on, but generally avoid swearing in pub. Palermo's a pain in the arse cos theres no spawn camping and no shooting in spawn rules. So no lurking on the spawn ramps with MGs or snipers, but equally no nading the spawn ramps to get snipers off there. Makes adminning a bit of a PITA from time to time cos theres always people who have got used to doing that on servers less well monitored.

But overall a pretty good server.....unless you're a certain welshman who can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and is reduced to camping proned in a corner

Actually DODS has suffered in gameplay since they strengthened the thompson and mp40. A lot of instant headshots for the pointless, talentless spray&pray merchants which plays merry hell with your HLStats.

Drop in sometime to get your arse kicked

Would be fun to round up some of the old gang for a game of regular DoD,eh ? Maybe over the summer- when autumn starts...

Will try to stop by a bit more often, just to check...

Get Battlefield Bad Company and join me on [m2s] server.

It's a lot like DoD source in terms of graphics and ease compared to BF2.

Much quicker to get into and easier to rank up.
