I have the dirext 9 problem and cured that!

I have windows XP

It now starts to load, i see CoD 5 title then black screen then quick grey screen then 4/5ths of a black screen with the rest being desktop.

Then an error.

The Error Signature states

AppName: codwawbeta.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: codwawbeta.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 0027dceb

I have googled it and tried changes windows compatibility.

Any ideas

I will make who ever solves my (WAL) member of the month and bow down before you hailing you as a f*cking genius if you solve it

mine was down to out of date driver for graphic card

if not that try new download of game
